No. THRIVE-ACF™ should not be fed during the first 24 hours of life because it contains Bovatec® (lasalocid). Newborn calves should first receive an adequate intake of high-quality colostrum to establish passive immunity before THRIVE-ACF™ is introduced from Day 2 onwards. This ensures calves receive the essential nutrition and immune protection needed during the critical first day of life before transitioning onto their supplementation program.

Once calves have received adequate high-quality colostrum during their first 24 hours of life, introduce THRIVE-ACF™ from Day 2 onwards. Feed 10 g per calf per day until weaning. Feeding throughout the milk-fed period provides continuous gut health, microbiome and nutritional support while delivering comprehensive protozoal protection during one of the most important stages of calf development.
