XLR8® K

XLR8® K stimulates natural biological reactions responsible for solubilising and mobilising a pool of available potassium in soils. This potassium mobilisation is the stated function of XLR8® K.

XLR8® K has application directions for field crops, broadacre crops, intensive horticulture, tree fruit and paddy rice, as well as bare ground, fallow ground and ratoon crops. Specifically listed crop types include corn, sugar cane, wheat, pasture, potato, cucumber, chilli and zucchini.

Yes. XLR8® K has specific directions for broadacre application, with sugar cane, corn, wheat and pasture listed as broadacre crop types. It can be applied with fertiliser after ground preparation or applied directly to the ground after harvest.

Yes. XLR8® K has application directions for intensive horticulture, with potato, cucumber, chilli and zucchini specifically listed. Depending on the application, directions are provided for soil application, foliar spray and fertigation.

For soil application, dilute XLR8® K 1:10 in water and apply as a fine mist 7 to 10 days prior to planting. Specific timing also applies to certain uses, including commencement of fallow, prior to crop emergence for ratoon crops and after ground preparation or harvest for broadacre applications.

Yes. XLR8® K may be sprayed with fertiliser. For ratoon crops, the directions specify application with fertiliser prior to crop emergence, while broadacre directions specify application with fertiliser after ground preparation.

Yes. XLR8® K has foliar application directions for field crops, intensive horticulture, tree fruit and paddy rice. Dilute XLR8® K 1:40 in water and apply as a fine mist. For intensive horticulture, it is ideally applied with other foliar feed.

Yes. XLR8® K has fertigation directions for intensive horticulture. Dilute 1:1 with water and apply through a centre pivot or micro-dripper system.

For soil application to tree fruit, apply XLR8® K directly to the soil under the tree canopy. Foliar directions specify applying it as a mist under the canopy prior to flowering or fruiting and to the ground in the area beneath the canopy.

Application rates vary by crop and application method. Soil application is 10 L/ha for bare ground, fallow ground, ratoon crops, field crops, broadacre and tree fruit, and 20 L/ha for intensive horticulture. Paddy rice has a first soil application rate of 20 L/ha followed by 10 L/ha.

For soil application, apply XLR8® K once per growing cycle unless otherwise stated. Reapply 14 days after the application of fungicides, herbicides or sterilising agents for all crop types.

Store XLR8® K in a shaded location until ready to use and do not freeze. Keep the container closed and free of debris when not in use, and do not shake. XLR8® K is a fermented product, so its colour and odour may vary during storage.
